We installed 12 receptacles in the support ledger under the rim of a large island countertop (horizontal installation). This has a very clean look, and provides ample outlets for appliances. We wanted outlets all the way around, as we host church covered dish dinners with many crock pots. This is so much better than pop up outlets that would involve cutting/drilling the countertop. As the countertop extends and inch over the rim, I don't have to worry about spills getting into the power. The covers provide protection for the grandkids inquisitive fingers.
Shipping was fast, installation was easy - buy the correct hole drill bit to make a clean cut.
